She began her career in 1990 as an Instrument Engineer at Sime Engineering before joining MMC Oil & Gas in 1995, where she rose through project management roles to her current position as CEO.
She holds a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering (Hons) and an MBA from Nottingham University, England.
Beyond her corporate role, she has held significant industry leadership positions:
MOGSC: President (2016–2022), now Advisor (2024–2026).
MOGEC: Executive Council (since 2019), Vice President (2021–2025), currently President.
MBOT: Chair of Women Technologist Chapter (2022–2026).
CWAL UniKL: Cluster Head for Engineering & Energy (2022–2024).
MCMTC: Council Member.
She also serves on boards including Doris MMC Sdn Bhd and Government Industry TVET Coordination (GITC), and was recently appointed Chairperson of the MyMahir Future Skills Talent Council (FSTC) for the Oil & Gas sector.
Her leadership and advocacy for women in technology have earned her notable recognition, including the Top 50 Women Energy Leaders in Developing Economies (2017), the MBOT Woman Leadership Award (2023), and a feature in the “Women in Energy: Pioneers, Innovators, and Change Makers in Malaysia” (2025).
