Ts. Sharifah Zaida Nurlisha

President 

Sharifah Zaida Nurlisha is the Chief Executive Officer of MMC Oil & Gas Engineering Sdn Bhd, with over 35 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, covering all project phases from conceptual design to EPCIC, both in Malaysia and abroad.

She began her career in 1990 as an Instrument Engineer at Sime Engineering before joining MMC Oil & Gas in 1995, where she rose through project management roles to her current position as CEO.

She holds a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering (Hons) and an MBA from Nottingham University, England.

Beyond her corporate role, she has held significant industry leadership positions:

MOGSC: President (2016–2022), now Advisor (2024–2026).

MOGEC: Executive Council (since 2019), Vice President (2021–2025), currently President.

MBOT: Chair of Women Technologist Chapter (2022–2026).

CWAL UniKL: Cluster Head for Engineering & Energy (2022–2024).

MCMTC: Council Member.

She also serves on boards including Doris MMC Sdn Bhd and Government Industry TVET Coordination (GITC), and was recently appointed Chairperson of the MyMahir Future Skills Talent Council (FSTC) for the Oil & Gas sector.

Her leadership and advocacy for women in technology have earned her notable recognition, including the Top 50 Women Energy Leaders in Developing Economies (2017), the MBOT Woman Leadership Award (2023), and a feature in the “Women in Energy: Pioneers, Innovators, and Change Makers in Malaysia” (2025).

Pn Arnida binti Arsam

Vice President

Arnida has 25 years of experience in Oil and Gas. She started her career in 2000 in Mecomb Engineering as an Instrumentation Engineer but quickly propelled her career in Sime Engineering where she had delved in tendering, quality and project management for downstream projects. She made the transition to upstream engineering consultancy in 2008 when joining Aker Engineering Malaysia Sdn Bhd as Sr Project Engineer and successfully delivered projects as Project Manager and Sr Project Manager.
She is now the Heading the Kuala Lumpur office of Aker Solutions as sr VP New Build KL. Her responsibilities includes overall operations of the engineering services as well as the Business opportunity from the APAC region.
Graduated with a Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering from Bristol University, UK and recently attained Masters in Sustainability Development Management from Sunway University.

En Amran Bin Sofiyan

Secretary

En Amran is an engineer turned sustainability leader with wide-ranging experiences in project management, training, and facilitation. He has moderated diverse discussions and, outside work, teaches Aikido and origami. Passionate about self-development, he treasures proverbs as timeless glimpses into human wisdom. 

Pn Azlin Roshazliana Abdul Rahman

Asst Secretary 

Azlin joined T.EN Consultant (M) Sdn. Bhd. 10 years ago as a Project Engineer, progressing to Business Development & Tendering, and is now the Key Account Manager for Malaysian Clients and Government Liaison. Upon graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, she started her career in the Automotive Industry and then moved to the Electronic Industry before joining the Oil, Gas & Energy Industry, where she became a certified Project Management Professional. She represented Technip as one of its Brand Ambassadors and continue to contribute to the Organization’s ESG in constructing the culture of the company as a Diversity and Inclusion Business Champion for Technip Malaysia.

En Shazli Bin Razak

Treasurer

Shazli is a managing director and co-founder of an engineering design and specialized manpower supply company Kemuncak Lanai Sdn Bhd (KLSB). Soon after graduating as a Mechanical Engineer from UNIVERSITY TENAGA NASIONAL (UNITEN) in year 2000, he joined his family business, a joint-venture company with BERNAS in the rice industry and subsequently obtained his MBA from UNIVERSITY TEKNOLOGI MALAYSIA (UTM) in year 2004. KLSB, which was established back in 2011, has since grown from a small company to an organisation that employed more than 150 staff. KLSB is primarily involved in minor engineering design activities as well as providing specialised resources to design consultants companies in Malaysia. Shazli is also a member of The Malay College Old Boys Association (MCOBA). He is also a former EXCO of Malaysian Oil, Gas & Energy Services Council (MOGSC)

Ir. Dr. Ragunath Bharath

Ir Dr Ragunath Bharath has over 28 years of experience in the plant EPCC business and is a director of IFP (Innovative Fluid Process Sdn Bhd), a multidiscipline plant engineering group. Prior to establishing IFP, he worked with Chiyoda Corporation in Yokohama, Foster Wheeler Malaysia and OGP Technical Services in the process and commissioning disciplines. He obtained his undergraduate and graduate degrees in chemical engineering from Tohoku University, Japan under Japanese Government Scholarship and is a registered Professional Engineer with BEM and Fellow of IChemE UK.

Ms Voon Jye Yng

Jye Yng is a Chemical Engineer with over 20 years of experience in process safety and technical risk assessment in the oil & gas, petrochemical and chemical industries. She is a TUV certified Functional Safety Engineer, PHA facilitator and is also registered as QRA Subject Specialist with the Department of Environment. Throughout her career, she works closely with Clients across Asia Pacific, Australia, UK and US, in addressing their safety, risk and sustainability related issues in engineering design and operations. She is a Consulting Partner at ERM, leading the safety service of the sustainability consulting business.

En Aidi Reza

Aidi Reza is the Business Development Manager for Petrofac RNZ in Malaysia, an integrated service provider from Engineering, Operation & Maintenance, Well Services and Decommissioning. He leading growth initiatives and client engagement across the Southeast Asia oil and gas market. With over 10 years of experience in the energy sector, Aidi has held key commercial and business development roles with international and local EPC companies, including Samsung E&A, T7 Global, Synergy Engineering, where he built strong networks with major operators and clients. He is passionate about creating strategic partnerships and delivering innovative solutions to optimize operations, enhance efficiency, and drive value for clients. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Instrument Engineering and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Putra Business School, UPM.

 

En Farid Shukri

Farid Shukri began his career as a process engineer in the oleochemical sector before transitioning into technical sales within the chemical industry. This move provided him with valuable commercial expertise and an understanding of market engagement and client needs.
He later entered the oil and gas sector and became part of Ertha Energy from its early days. As a founding member and currently serving as Business Strategy Manager, Farid has been instrumental in driving the business development, helping the company grow from a startup into a globally active business with operations in Singapore, UAE, Qatar, India, and the Caspian region.
He hopes to bring a fresh and youthful perspective to the energy sector, leveraging his hands-on experience and strategic insight. Farid holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines, USA.

Ir Zaizul Imran

Ir. Zaizul Imran bin Zainal has over 27 years of experience in engineering consultancy business for both Oil&Gas and Non Oil&Gas, serving in the capacity of Executive Director as well as Principal Civil and Structural Engineer of Mecip (M ) Sdn. Bhd. Prior to his current appointment he has served in various positions in Engineering Department. Prior to joining Mecip, he has gained experiences in the design office as well as construction sites while working with prominent engineering consultancy firms, ie Arup Jururunding Sdn. Bhd. His expertise includes structural engineering design and project management and familiar with the standards, codes of practices and engineering softwares for civil and structural engineering design. Graduated with Bachelor of Structural Engineering (Honours) from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia in 1998. He is also an active member of the Institution of Engineers Malaysia (IEM).
