Ir. Abd Rashid Md Sidek

He graduated in 1983 with a Degree in Mechanical Engineering and immediately joined SHELL in Miri Sarawak working on their Offshore Production Platforms. He left SHELL in 1987 and worked with Brown & Root and Technip in their Kuala Lumpur offices until 1998. He tried his hands in running his own business for two years before joining Toyo Engineering & Construction Sdn Bhd in year 2000 and has since held the position of Executive Director. His career covers Project Management, Engineering Design, Procurement and Construction supervision in both upstream and downstream sectors of the Oil & Gas Industry. Ir Rashid received his FELLOW from IEM in 2011.

Sofiyan Yahya

Sofiyan Bin Yahya, obtained his Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering from City University, London in 1979. He started his career with PETRONAS in 1979 as an engineer in the production department and progressed to other companies in the oil and gas industry. He is currently the Executive Chairman of Cekap Tecnhical Services Sdn Bhd. He founded and established Cekap Technical Services in 1994 as a niche integrated project management and integrated operations services provider. He is an Associate Fellow of the Institution of Chemical Engineers (IChemE).

Rusihan Bin Ruslan

Rusihan Bin Ruslan has been the Senior Market Analyst of Technip Geoproduction (M) Sdn Bhd since 2013. Previously he has served as the Corporate Planner and Business Analyst of the same company since 2003. He held various positions at Golden Pharos Berhad for 5 years from 1998 to 2003 including Accountant and Assistant Manager for Corporate Services. He started his career as Audit Assistant at Arthur Andersen & Co in 1994. Rusihan is both Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and Chartered Accountant of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) since 2002. He received an Advanced Diploma in Accountancy from MARA Institute of Technology, Shah Alam in 1993.

Ir. Razmahwata Mohd Razalli

Razmahwata b Mohamad Razalli is an Associate Process Safety Consultant to MECIP Global Engineers Sdn. Bhd. He is also the Lead Engineer at IGL Solutions Sdn. Bhd. He graduated with a MEng from Cambridge University. He has over 20 years in the Malaysian Oil & Gas industry, in operations, engineering and consulting roles.

Ir. Ahmad Nazari b. Ashari

He graduated in 1982 with a degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering. Ir. Ahmad Nazari is the co-founder and Chairman of MECIP Global Engineers Sdn Bhd & MECIP (M) Sdn Bhd.

Dr Christina Phang

Dr. Christina Phang is a Chartered Chemical Engineer and a Fellow of the Institute of Chemical Engineers (IChemE), UK. She has 25 years’ experience in safety engineering and risk management, predominantly in providing advice to the oil and gas sector and is the Managing Partner of ERM’s Global Risk practice in Asia Pacific. Dr. Christina is also an active member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) in Malaysia.

Ir. Dr Torkil Ganendra

Dr. Torkil Ganendra has over 25 years of experience in the consulting engineering profession including 19 years in oil & gas with Aker Solutions Malaysia Sdn Bhd where he is currently is the Director. He has a PhD from Imperial College London University and is the Corporate Member of IEM and registered Professional Member with BEM.

Pn. Bahiyatul Nazarah

Since graduation in July 1987, Bahiyatul has been working for 29 years in Oil Gas and Petrochemical Industry. She started her career in January 1988 with Cegelec Malaysia Sdn Bhd as a Procurement Engineer and developed her career as Procurement Manager. Presently working with RNZ Integrated (M) Sdn Bhd since November 2004.

Dr Ragunath

Dr. Ragunath Bharath is a Managing Director of Innovative Fluid Process Sdn. Bhd. Since Sept 2001. Doctorate in Chemical Engineering from Tohoku University, Japan (Year 1993) – under the Japanese Government Scholarship. Started as Process Engineer at Chiyoda Corporation in Yokohama. Returned to Malaysia in year 2000 and joined OGP Technical Services, a PETRONAS group company as Principal for Process Engineering.

Dato’ Suhaili Idrus

Dato' Suhaili Idrus spent 29 years in the downstream oil & gas industry mainly with Shell in marketing, supply trading, gas to liquids, LNG and transformation. He also spent a year with Iskandar Regional Development Authority and four years in PEMANDU, Prime Ministers' Dept. He is now SVP Infrastructure & Strategy at AECOM Malaysia. He qualified as a mechanical engineer from UMIST, Manchester and earned an MBA from University Malaya. He is a Fellow of Chartered Management Institute (UK), Fellow of Institution of Mechanical Engineering and Member Institute of Engineers Malaysia.

Zahrol Ahmad

Zahrol Ahmad starts his business with CCI Logistic (M) Sdn Bhd more than 15 years ago, a joint venture with Korean Company. Then later he develops a new company of his own called Cargomind which specialize in International Freight Forwarding. Through his steadfast endurance and effort, he is able to compete well among the best players in the industry. His continuous and holistic approach in enhancing smart partnership among the authorities and logistic main players remain as his core vision. He is now appointed as Company Advisor and Business Development Director in R&A Power Industrial Distribution Sdn Bhd.

Abdul Rahman Hariri

Abdul Rahman Hariri is a chemical engineer with over 30 years of experience in refinery operation, process modeling and pressure relief safety management. He obtained his Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) in Chemical Engineering from Monash University Melbourne in 1985.

He has worked in Singapore and Houston and went on to found and manage Winmore Engineering Sdn Bhd which provides consulting for Pressure Relief Safety Management since 2006.

Ir. Nor Azahar Abdul Razak

He started his career in Oil & Gas industry with Sime Engineering Sdn. Bhd. in 1994 as Instrument & Control Engineer, and he has committed in this line of profession which has brought him to various high level position from Lead Engineer to Engineering Manager.  He is also the lead assessor for Yayasan Sime Darby scholarship.  In 2012, he joins Wood Group Mustang (M) Sdn. Bhd. as Instrument & Control Engineer then progressed to Lead Engineer and Director/Head of Engineering.  He is currently the Director – Business Development & Strategic Planning for Wood Group.  He is a registered Professional Engineer with Practising Certificate with Board of Engineers Malaysia. 

Ricky Tan Hooi Boo

Ricky Tan is the Senior Sales Manager of WEG South East Asia Sdn. Bhd., a wholly owned subsidiary of WEG group, third largest motor manufacturer in the world based in Brazil.  WEG has 35 manufacturing bases around the world, manufacturing various sizes of LV to HV motors, VFDs & soft starters, oil and dry type transformers & distribution and switchgears.

Ricky Tan has been involving in HV and MV motors and automation products over 6 years mainly in oil and gas and other heavy industries and actively involved in Petronas upstream and downstream and in RAPID Development.

Prior to this, Ricky was the Sales/Technical Manager & Business Development Manager of Watt Euro-Drive (M) Sdn. Bhd., an Austrian technology company specialized in products system solutions for automation and drive technique before Watt Euro Drive becoming part of WEG group in 2011. He was tasked with main responsibility in sales and marketing, project and engineering in geared motor for special and general application for 10 years since 2001.

Besides sales, Ricky has hands on experience in engineering design, installation, commissioning and troubleshooting with support of sales and after sales team when he was a Sales Manager with a main plant builder agent in Malaysia, TecGates (M) Sdn. Bhd, a German affiliated company specializing in cement industry. His involvements include commissioning of Malayan Cement Bhd. in Ipoh Perak and final installation of Pahang Cement in Kuantan, Pahang.

Over 23 years, Ricky has demonstrated capabilities in various roles including engineering sales, after sales, marketing and business development, project supervisory and management, technical advices  and managerial experience covering various heavy industries in metal, cement, oil & gas, palm oil, water, sewage etc.  A strong believer in nurturing passion and strengths among teams with extensive engagement with his team led to significant business outcomes.
