Bureau Veritas Malaysia (BVM) recently had the privilege to speak at International Energy Week 2023’s Technical Symposium. Power & Utilities Market Leader of BVM, Muhammad Rizal Azmi and Sustainability Business Development Leader, Nizam Richard, took the stage as speakers during the presentation titled "Achieving Net Zero: Strategies & Innovations For A Sustainable Future."

Sharing useful insights and outlook, Rizal and Nizam touched on the challenges and opportunities associated with transitioning to a net-zero emissions economy and discussed the urgency of the climate crisis, emphasising the critical need to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in alignment with the Paris Agreement.

With Malaysia targeting net-zero emission at the earliest by 2050, BVM is looking forward to supporting companies to act in their journey towards a sustainable future.
